I had gone to two WCR luncheons last October and November and Renee was encouraged to join at that time. It wasn’t until I returned to the luncheon in February of this year that I decided to actually Holt, WCR become a member of WCR. I saw great potential for networking, PA
education and leadership training, as well as wonderful camaraderie, and friendly and encouraging members. In early June I received a phone call from Annette Whitehead who was a Realtor in South Florida. She introduced herself as a WCR member looking to refer a client who lived in Maitland and was looking for a home in the Lake Mary area. She said she saw that I was also a WCR member and that my area was Lake Mary. After we talked for a while, she provided me with the contact information and a Referral Agreement, which I gladly signed and faxed back. The clients, Matt and Sharon, were first time home buyers and didn’t know exactly what to expect. I thoroughly explained the process, and they were delightful to work with. I took them to see a half dozen homes or so, but they fell in love with a “normal sale” in Longwood near Sweetwater and the rest is history. I had heard about WCR referrals, but to have been fortunate enough to experience one firsthand was truly amazing. We closed on September 9, 2010 and the buyers found their dream home. 407.474.5552
