In this issue we are proud to honor the businesses you voted as this year’s My Alpharetta Best of 2023 winners. These business owners haven’t just survived the challenges brought on by the circumstances of the last few years, they are thriving! Thank you for your engagement and your votes of conﬁdence for these amazing businesses.

In addition to the business community that is such an important part of Alpharetta, we want to celebrate the people who live here and do good things to help our children, our elderly and disabled and those who are simply struggling due to health and ﬁnancial issues. Many of our citizens work tirelessly to share their gifts of time, knowledge and other resources so that all can beneﬁt from living here. One such individual is Alpharetta’s Joanne Feldman, who recently lent her time and shared her knowledge to promote STEM to young people.

Joanne teamed up with Children Helping Children’s Michelle Hodgson to kick off part one of a threepart series entitled STEM & SERVICE. Joanne, a meteorologist at Fox5, spent the day teaching young adults from GiGi’s Playhouse about weather and its impact on their daily lives. We aren’t sure who had more fun, Joanne or the kids!
