What you need to know about the Best of 2022 contest winners

There was a time not so long ago that, as a media company owner, I refused to run Best of contests. I didn’t believe it was really fair to label any one business as the best because we have so many great ones in our community, and being the best varies depending on who you ask. But eventually, I changed my mind, and here is why. At the end of the day, I think these contests can provide valuable insight to readers and value to our local East Cobb businesses who choose to participate.

What you need to know about the Best of 2022 winners is this: They received the award because there are a lot of people who know them, trust them and believe they are the best at what they do. Those believers go online and vote daily to show their support for these local businesses, and those endorsements mean they have a loyal following. This says something. Does it mean these are the only businesses that provide excellent services and quality products in East Cobb? Of course not, but if you are looking, they should be on your list for consideration.

Our East Cobb community is full of stellar businesses that offer exceptional service and experiences; the key is finding the right ones for you. If you have a favorite place in East Cobb you believe deserves recognition, please let us know. After all, we are all about the neighborhood, our community and supporting local East Cobb businesses in many different ways so you can have the information you need to choose the best for you.
