1Michelle Jericevich wanted more for her daughter Indya after seeing the lack of ful lling care options for individuals with disabilities after they graduated from high school. So Jericevich took over Great Prospects, Inc. to ease the “transition gap” for the special needs community. The Sandy Springs nonpro t offers daily
programs for developmentally disabled young adults where they can come together, create community, build
friendships and continue learning. You can help the organization
by donating your time, talent or resources. Reach out to info@greatprospectsinc.org to learn more. greatprospectsinc.org

4Join volunteers for the annual Sweep the Hooch event on March 26. The watershed-wide trash cleanup helps keep the Chattahoochee River pristine and healthy for wildlife and park patrons alike. Get involved as a shore walker, wader or river paddler. Through the coordinated efforts of volunteers,
the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper organization has removed more than 2 million pounds of trash and tires from the river to date.
