ATL AIRPORT DISTRICT Hapeville – Delta Flight Museum The Delta Flight Museum collects, preserves, and shares aviation history and technology. Highlighting aircraft, collections, and artifacts of Delta and more than 40 family airlines. The museum is comprised of renovated airplane hangars originally constructed in the 1940s and includes a retired Boeing 747 that can be used as event space. deltamuseum.org
College Park – College Park Historic Home District College Park has the fourth-largest urban historic home district in the state of Georgia, with 867 structures on the historic register. PEACHTREE CITY CAF Dixie Wing Museum The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing is the Georgia chapter of the largest collection of WWII aircraft flying in the world today. The CAF Dixie Wing Historical Airpower Facility includes a restoration shop, displays of WWII artifacts, and a room for meetings and special events.
