CONCIERGE CORNER

Take a tip from us and ask one of our knowledgeable concierge friends about Atlanta. You won’t be disappointed. Jada Robinson, Concierge at Atlanta Marriott Marquis, gives us her picks for a great Atlanta visit.

How can visitors best experience Atlanta’s beautiful spring weather? The best way visitors can experience spring weather is by taking a walk along Atlanta BeltLine. The BeltLine connects all different neighborhoods of our city and has restaurants, art and street performers. Stop and have a great beer in one of the amazing breweries or have a cocktail in one of the unique places along the way.

What are the top places to go for a local experience?

A great experience for anyone coming to Atlanta is a city classic, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. It showcases the many local artists and it’s family friendly. I also recommend going to one of the best southern restaurants: Mary Mac’s Tea Room. Mary Mac’s is a 75 year old landmark and the food here gives you a taste of the south. As you make your way through our city, stop by Ponce City Market, another historic landmark located in the former Sears Roebuck building. It is now home to many local unique shops, an amazing food hall, a rooftop carnival and rooftop bar that has an amazing view of the city.

Where are the best places for watching sports?

One of my favorite sports bars is STATS Brewpub, located right in the heart of Downtown. It has a rooftop deck and is located near Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC. STATS has 70 televisions, perfect for watching all your favorite teams. Brewhouse Café is located in an eclectic part of town called Little Five Points, and is a major location to watch Atlanta United FC. If you are looking for excellent food and draft beer in the downtown area, look no further than Park Bar.
