The area of North Atlanta is made up of the fast-growing cities of Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Cumming. Richly endowed with executive homes, charm, green spaces, businesses, award-winning schools, shopping and entertainment, these cities are located just north of Atlanta and offer an excellent balance of urban access and suburban charm.
Roswell is a beloved community with a historic downtown area. Its famous Canton Street connects the downtown area and is lined with buildings from the 1800s as well as Antebellum-era homes. Alpharetta is one of the fastestgrowing cities in the South, located just 25 miles north of Atlanta. Known as the Technology City of the South, it is also home to many of the top high schools in the state. Alpharetta is known for its vibrant community and hosts incredible events throughout the year. Also a part of Fulton County, Johns Creek was officially founded as a town in 2006.
North of Fulton County is Cumming, Georgia, the county seat of Forsyth County. Forsyth is the wealthiest county in Georgia, the 30th wealthiest county in the United States and one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States. Traditionally a more rural area, population growth over the last decades has led to strong development, both residential and commercial.
