SEASONAL FISHING AND HUNTING Shantou, a coastal city in Guangdong Province, China, developed from a small fishing village to an economic special zone. To ensure sustainable fishing, a seasonal ban restricts fishing during crucial periods for fish growth and reproduction .During these periods, ships are prohibited from fishing at sea. TRANSLATION OF ARCHITECTURAL SPACE

STREAMLINE TRANSLATION The Yen Lao Ye procession begins with a respectful invitation for the deity to leave the temple at an auspicious time, following the ancestral route for the pilgrimage. It starts by passing through narrow alleys, then pausing at the village square to conduct worship ceremonies and celebrations. The procession then proceeds in the predetermined order, visiting the blessed villages one by one before ultimately returning to the starting point. Throughout the entire process, spectators stand along the streets, enjoying the magnificent performances of the participants, and actively participating in the celebration.

BACKGROUND ANALYSIS

The building uses a lot of consumables and creates a huge amount of urban pollution

The urbanization rate of 30%-70% is the zone of rapid urbanization development, accompanied by urban expansion and rural population loss.

LIVE LONG AND PROSPER Group Project Yifan CHEN ; Yifang FU Instructor: LANG, Liang Program Location: Danlian City, China 2021-2022 Yifan, CHEN: Pre-planning, Design of The Podium and Landscape, Tower Optimization, Analytical Diagrams Yifang, FU : Preliminary Idea, Pre-planning, Design of The Tower, Main Modeling and Rendering

As the urbanization rate exceeds 70%, there will be a slowing down of the rate of urban expansion and an increase in the mobility of intra-urban residents.

CONCEPT PROSPECT Build inclusive buildings that can accommodate changes in the building's occupant population and even changes in the function of different functional uses.

Concrete buildings are demolished when they become unsuitable for urban development needs, resulting in wastage
