Traditional fluorescent lighting consumes significantly more electricity than LED technology, while the typical lifespan of fluorescent lights is between 15-30% shorter than that of identical LED solutions. This results in a greater number of bulb failures and replacements leading to higher overall maintenance costs. Switching to EasySafe’s low energy LED emergency lighting is quick, simple and will on average deliver 20% energy efficiency savings, compared with fluorescent alternatives.

AIRMASTER – THE ESTABLISHED MASTER OF COOLING FANS AND AIRCON UNITS

For more than 25 years, Airmaster desk and floor fans have led the way in the British summer cooling market with a diverse and expanding range – which now includes portable aircon units.

HAMILTON – TAKE REMOTE CONTROL OF THE OPEN AIR!

MAKITA LAUNCHES LATEST PROMOTION FOR END USERS WITH A FREE XGT 40VMAX RADIO

ANTI-VIRAL TESTING FOR SCOLMORE’S SWITCHES AND SOCKETS

Scolmore’s Mode, Mode Part M and Polar plates have been independently tested and have shown to have anti-viral properties against enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. After a contact period of four hours, all tested plates were shown to have a 99.9% kill off rate against enveloped viruses and a 92% kill off rate against non-enveloped viruses.

This new anti-viral testing is in addition to the anti-bacterial testing already carried out. Mode, Mode Part M and Polar are all manufactured using Urea Formaldehyde, which has similar inherent properties to antimicrobial additives that inhibit the growth of infectious diseases. When independently tested, all products achieved a 99.99% kill off rate across all four types of the strains of bacteria – MRSA, E-Coli, Salmonella and Klebsiella Pneumonia.

GETTING IT RIGHT

Getting jobs right first time reduces delays, enhances productivity and profitability, and keeps the customer happy.

The Ideal FT-45 solution speeds up and simplifies the termination of RJ45 plugs by eliminating any need to trim conductors to length precisely before inserting the cable into the plug. ESP’s latest launch in its CCTV range sees the addition of a new anthracite grey finish for some of its IP camera housings.
