RISE, REWIRE, REST, REPEAT: WHY CHAMPIONS CHOOSE ELECTRICFIX
With a mission to help busy tradespeople get their jobs done quickly, affordably, and right first time, Screwfix has launched Screwfix Sprint! A 60 minute delivery service exclusivley available on the app from over 275 Screwfix stores.
There is more support available for professional electricians through Electricfix S crewfix Sprint launched in 2021 – a 60-minute delivery service that allows Screwfix customers to have products delivered directly to them, within an hour, whether that’s to site or home. With no minimum spend and a set fee of £5 per delivery, this convenient service allows busy tradespeople to order the products they need via the Screwfix app and have them delivered to their preferred location. All whilst being able to continue with the job in hand. It is currently available to more than a third of the UK population, covering 35 major cities and towns across 275 eligible Screwfix stores. This year, the service will be rolled out to even more Screwfix stores.
The Sprint service sits alongside Screwfix’s existing and hugely popular Click & Collect service, where customers can shop online and pick-up from a store in as little as one minute. The retailer also offers next day delivery, seven days a week, so there are a range of options that allow tradespeople to shop with Screwfix how and when they want to get what they need, when they need it.
Screwfix recently unveiled branding, Screwfix – ‘The Choice of Champions’, that shines a light on the professionalism, skill, and dedication of its customers – showing tradespeople in a true light – as super tuned professionals – bringing their talent, focus, skill, and dedication to the fore.
The campaign includes powerful and authentic portraits of genuine tradespeople and incorporates straplines such as ‘rise, rewire, rest, repeat’ and ‘it took blood, sweat and tears to hone my skills’, to humanise the hard work tradespeople carry out every day.
For years, Screwfix has shown the value of tradespeople through its renowned Screwfix Top Tradesperson and Trade Apprentice competitions, which receive thousands of entries and shine a light on the skills, expertise, and professionalism of those established and upcoming within the trade.
Screwfix also connects tradespeople with customers who need help with home improvements through their partnership with Needhelp. This is a free-to-use service where customers can post their need online and registered tradespeople can quote on the job at no extra cost.
In addition, for professional electricians, there is more support available through an Electricfix membership. Being part of Electricfix is completely free and gives members an exclusive 10% off selected products – they just need to look out for the gold badge in deals papers, in store and when they log on to their Electricfix account on the app or screwfix.com. In addition, the membership offers up to 60 days free credit with a Trade UK card.
Electricfix customers can also grab a cuppa at their dedicated Screwfix store while they receive ex-VAT pricing and bespoke quoting.
To register, electricians need to provide evidence of membership of an electrical trade body or relevant professional association, or a relevant certificate/qualification.
