We are an international manufacturer now raising our profile in the UK servicing the needs of installers working in the residential, residential MDU and hotel markets. In the UK up to this point our largest area of impact has been in the single dwelling installer led type of projects, but we are also growing rapidly in the MDU and hotels markets (both sectors that we have a large footprint in globally) to offer installers a comprehensive one-call platform for any type of project.

Our company was founded in 2005 in Toledo, Spain and has seen huge growth over the years so we now stand at more than 300 employees, 400 different KNX based product options, more than 10,000 projects executed with presence in 117 countries around the globe. We are proud that our company is still privately owned by the same founding partners staying true to our company principles of agile innovation to deliver what the market needs.

We firmly believe that our approach in delivering ease of use, improving comfort and control for end users and the energy saving abilities of our solutions place Zennio at the heart of the expanding building automation market. Our abilities in HVAC go all the way back to the beginning of the company as our very first product was a KNX module for infrared air conditioning control. The evolved version of this product is still in use today and integrates more than 300 air conditioning indoor units. With the rise in fuel pricing hitting everyone, every sector we are supporting is looking for simple, effective energy saving solutions, its one of our core competencies. We now have bidirectional interfaces for most manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Toshiba and LG.

Already market leaders in the residential and hospitality sectors in our home market of Spain, we have seen our presence expand steadily in the UK working with our partners. Right from the start the KNX platform has been our focus in delivering the functionality installers and end users require. With our long experience in developing products for KNX we are recognised as one of the leading innovators for the platform on the planet.

We also get heavily involved in supporting those installers who choose to work with us. Our Technical Office provides a complete project planning and documentation service so that installers can deliver comprehensive project plans and quotes for any size of scheme. This is a vital service for those installers who don’t have this capacity in-house allowing them to compete with larger firms and win projects that might have been out of their reach. SECTOR DETAIL

Owners of a Zennio smart home or apartment will notice many benefits including increased comfort, energy monitoring, control and cost savings as well as full remote control of their home automation features via our Apps as well as in the home of course via controllers such as the Z41 Remote, Zennio Remote and ZenCom. As well as the creation of special whole home scenes for coming home, going out, party time ect, homeowners can also receive real time alerts on their mobile devices of any issues or problems such as security alerts or leaks. Our system also offers video door entry integrated into a touch panel for single dwellings or MDU projects using our GetFace IP product line.

Moving over to the hotel sector, the many benefits delivered include sending messages to rooms via the smart touch-panels (welcome, hotel offers ect), full control over the room’s environment as well as setting moods. Room access via smart phones is also a feature as is audio playback in the room based on the guest’s smart device content and apps. Guests can also choose the room status from the control panel and ask not to be disturbed or ask for the room to be serviced. Hotel clients can also benefit from a complete range of access control systems via NFC cards or smartphone over Bluetooth.

Room access management depending on room occupancy and selected DND mode is also part of the system as is PMS and guest room management system integration (lighting, HVAC, etc). Also important to note that for this sector our BMS offering is perfect for centralised monitoring of the whole building.

Customers in all three sectors residential, apartment blocks and hotels can also call on our shading line to control the flow and effects of natural light. Our systems can allow spaces to adept to changing natural light levels reducing glare via control of blinds, curtains, and awnings. The systems also allow stakeholders to avoid solar damage to interiors, adjust systems around energy management needs and integrate window treatments with any room scene. Our lighting schemes of course deliver similar levels of control with scene/mood creation, dimming, as well as RGB/RGBW and DALI control.

Other abilities that can be rolled out across multiple sectors include energy monitoring of electricity, water and gas consumption offered as a visualisation over the system. Operation over the automation systems can also be based on set consumption rates and values.

Our platforms are also expert at integration with AV systems allowing playback from smartphones or tablets and providing access to popular apps such as YouTube, Spotify, and other streaming services. Control of all of our systems is of course fully available via our mobile/tablet friendly apps.
