ATMOS®
Wound Drainage
The ATMOS® Wound Drainage System is used for in-patients and out-patients who can benefit from the use of controlled negative pressure and the assistance it provides in wound healing. This applies in particular to patients who can benefit from a system that uses continuous or intermittent negative pressure to assist with active wound drainage and the removal of infectious material. Treatment objectives: Stimulation of granulation tissue Improvement of blood circulation Reduction of wound oedema Active drainage of wound secretions Reduction of wound infections Wound conditioning Minimisation of cross-infection The ATMOS® Wound Drainage System is suitable for treating the following types of wound: Chronic, subacute, acute, traumatised and dehiscent wounds Ulcers (e.g. pressure or diabetic ulcers) Transplants Burns
2
Increased safety for patient and care Keeping the wound environment moist aids with the granulation of new tissue Controlled, constant, negative pressure accelerates the wound healing process Assists with wound healing and improves perfusion by continuously draining off wound secretion and infectious material Optimum therapy monitoring due to negative pressure measurement in the vicinity of the wound Automatic warning messages in potentially dangerous situations
Improved comfort for patients
Less pain thanks to the gentle build-up of negative pressure Quiet running Higher therapy acceptance – greater patient satisfaction Portable system – no restrictions on mobility
Efficient treatment and application
Variable negative pressure settings for optimised treatment Lightens the care workload compared to traditional wound treatment methods Automatic dressing detection Quick and easy system set-up
Saves costs and time
Faster healing of chronic wounds Shorter hospital stays Keeps frequency of dressing changes to a minimum Lightens the care workload

ATMOSÂŽ S 042 NPWT The compact ATMOSÂŽ S 042 NPWT is an excellent solution for treating a variety of chronic and acute wounds on in-patients and out-patients. Typical indications include decubitus ulcers, ulcus cruris, diabetic foot syndrome and burns. The variable settings for the negative pressure required by the doctor allow for optimised negative pressure therapy. The extremely gentle build-up of negative pressure in the wound increases patient acceptance.

Secretion canister The sterile secretion canisters contain a hydrophobic odour and bacterial filter that keeps the unpleasant odour from the wound to a minimum and protects against an oversuction of the device. The 800Â ml secretion canister offers the perfect capacity for wounds that release a high volume of secretion, so that the secretion canister does not need to be changed as frequently. The 300Â ml secretion canister provides an alternative for mobile patients and children. The built-in, double-lumen suction hose can be connected to the dressing kit quickly and easily.

Quick and intuitive secretion canister changing Easy balancing Easy disposal
S 042 NPWT
Changing the secretion canister Save time with quick, safe secretion canister changes. The secretion canister can be attached and removed with just one hand. The built-in suction hose is easy to connect to the dressing kit.

Studies
The patient has a clouded view of their own wound secretion thus increased patient acceptance. Marked scaling steps allows easy balancing for carers.
Hygienic disposal thanks to a built-in gelling agent that solidifies the liquid.

Dressing kits Thanks to the wide variety of VivanoMed® dressing kits available, efficient therapy and individual treatment is guaranteed for every type and size of wound. The fine-pored, hypo-allergenic VivanoMed® foams mould themselves to fit irregular wound contours, and barely stick to the wound at all. As such, they leave no residue. Studies have shown that VivanoMed® Foams aid in cell formation and the granulation of the tissue in wounds. The intuitive Hydrofilm® application system makes it easy to establish an air-tight seal around the wound. The flexible VivanoTec® Port can mould itself around any body part, sticks perfectly and is highly durable. The ease with which the user can apply the VivanoTec® Port and the comfort it offers the patient wearing it supports the negative pressure therapy.
