Each month we’ll be checking in with the VHS for the latest good news and to help find furever homes for some of their more unique and older residents.

LITTLE DEBBIE: Meet longtime resident, Little Debbie! Her kittens - Cosmic Brownie, Nutty Buddy, Swiss Roll, Zebra Cake and Star Crunch - have all found homes. This 3-year-old momma of all things sweet, however, is still waiting for her own adoption day. Little Debbie’s adoption fee is $70 and includes her spay, microchip and vaccines. Come meet her at River Kitty Cat Cafe! SALLY: Hey beagle lovers! Sally is an 8-year-old sassy senior beagle looking for a home to live out her golden years. She is a strong-willed "granny dog" that will sit on a walk if she doesn't like the direction you are heading. But just because she knows what she wants, it doesn't mean she's not sweet! She will snort like a pig for attention and loves getting pets. She would prefer an adult-only home, has lived with other dogs and cats and is house-trained. To adopt Sally, visit vhslifesaver.org

STEVIE NICKS: Stevie Nicks is a 2-monthold Lionhead and wouldn't you love to love her? Despite her small size, she doesn't fear anything! She is curious, active, and loves to explore the unknown. Lionheads like her have a lot of fur, so she will need a home that will brush her frequently. Friendly dogs don't seem to bother her, as she's lived with them in the past. This sweet and adventurous bun's adoption fee is $50 and includes her spay and microchip.
