ASIAN THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY Offers

Hermeneutics and Theological Reflection November 18, 2011 – February 6, 2012 This course helps the students learn basic exegetical skills and introduces them to tools needed for exegesis. This course also guides students how to go from the results of exegesis to a broader grasp of biblical themes useful for addressing issues in theology and ethics. The aim of the exercises in exegesis and reflection is towards students' transformed lives and their appropriate use of Scripture for themselves, their communities, and their ministries.

Prerequisite: Introduction to the Bible November 18, 21, 23, 25, 28; December 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 2011 (Mon-Wed-Fri-one Sat.)
