November 2021

Dear Broncos Soccer players, parents and friends, On behalf of the BHS Boys’ Soccer Program and our coaching staff, thank you all for helping us to provide another enjoyable season of high school soccer! We are so fortunate to have the support of so many of you, from our school and from our community. Thank you all so much! We could not run the type of program without the help of all of you, and I am personally so deeply grateful for all that we are able to do, together. We hope this yearbook will provide everyone with a fun way to look back on the fall boys’ soccer season from 2021. This publication represents so much of what we want Broncos Soccer to look like. There are so many smiles captured here. We are proud of the boys for their efforts, their deep commitment and their quality as players too. This booklet contains information about the season (rosters, records, awards, etc.) while also highlighting some of the “other events” too, such as our picnic, TOPSoccer days, Senior Night and much more. We hope you will enjoy every page of this look back on the season! To those of you graduating and leaving us after the current school year ends, congratulations on everything you have accomplished as players, student-athletes and as young men. We are so proud of you! The future in front of you is paved with opportunity and we hope you will all thrive in whatever you do next, whether that is college, trade school, the military, the job force or something else. Best of everything to all of you! And remember, we will be here ready to welcome you back if you ever want to come visit us. Lastly, I cannot say thank you enough to John Cidulka, Laura Horak, Heather Vitale and Dana Dunleavy with Kinnelon Design, as well as any other people who helped get this book organized. It has turned out spectacularly, which is no surprise! Thanks to everyone who helped make this book so fantastic! Hope to see you all next season!

Scott Steib Head Coach, Broncos Soccer GO BRONCOS! YNWA!

SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 we welcomed all the FCX and BASA families. As we approach our 30th year as a club, we are proud of all our players, which after thirty years is in the tens of thousands.

Our principles and desire have never wavered, to offer a first class soccer club for our players, who now encompass players from 27 different schools, and many surrounding areas. We are equally proud of our recreational players, our FCX travel players, and our players who have graduated to play college, and some even professionally. The dedication of the players, families, coaches and staff at our club, are the reasoning behind this. We are proud of our players who represent FCX at Barrington High School on the boys program. Our diversity is our strength.

Barrington Soccer continues its tradition of giving back to the community by volunteering again this season to support the TOPSoccer program. TOPSoccer (Bronco Soccer Outreach Program) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age 5 and up, who has a mental or physical disability.

In 2021, the BHS Boys Soccer Boosters set out to accomplish three goals: 1.

Return to normal, after a highly restricted 2020 COVID soccer season.

2.

3.

Reload our financial bank account, as we had expenses in 2020, but no income.

Have fun.

I am very proud to say that our dedicated team of 33 soccer parents came together and accomplished all three goals. And while we worked hard to deliver great experiences for our friends and family, we did have a lot of fun. Thank you Boosters… MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! John Cidulka President, BHS Soccer Boosters
