All products are subject to continual review and modification. Bolzoni Auramo reserves the right to make such modifications without notice. More detailed technical information is available on request.

Prices

All prices shown are suggested list prices, with the exception of sideshifter prices, which are dealer NET. All prices are subject to continual review and modification. Bolzoni Auramo reserves the right to make such modifications without notice. Prices apply only to the specific equipment shown and described in the respective section. All alterations, amendments and modifications are subject to add-on prices. The prices are always indicated without packaging and without transport cost except for sideshifters, which come with free delivery for single shipments of 5 units or more.

Quotations

Price quotations on special or modified equipment shall be valid for 30 days from date thereof except as may be otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Special attachments

Special and modified equipment is available on request. A complete description of the application is required to specify the technical requirements.

Design ownership

All design, drawings and specifications prepared by Bolzoni Auramo, in connection with any standard, special or modified equipment, machinery, part or parts, shall remain the exclusive property of Bolzoni Auramo, and any copying, reproduction or other use thereof without the express written consent of Bolzoni Auramo, is strictly forbidden.

Rated capacity / Net working capacity

The rated capacity of each Bolzoni Auramo attachment is a structural rating only. The type of product to be handled as well as operating conditions must be considered before the net working capacity for each application can be properly determined. The attachment capacities shown are nominal. They apply only to the individual attachment and are not the capacity of the lift truck. Attachment capacity combined with lift-truck rating determines the net working capacity of the combination. The net working capacity for each truck/attachment combination will be available from the lift-truck manufacturer. For details concerning nominal working pressure and flow rates please consult Bolzoni Auramo technical specifications sheets.

General sales conditions

• Delivery terms are approximate and do not give the right to cancel or to claim damages of any kind. • The goods are delivered F.O.B Bolzoni Auramo uncleared and in any case are carried at the Customer´s risk.

Limited warranty

For a period of 36 months, from the date of delivery to customer, Bolzoni Auramo, at its option, will repair or replace for the original purchaser, free of charge, any part or parts of the attachment found, upon examination by Bolzoni Auramo, to be defective in material or workmanship, or both. To receive warranty service, contact your lift truck dealer or Bolzoni Auramo. This warranty does not apply if such defect has been caused by alteration, improper use, failure to provide proper maintenance, normal wear, or operation contrary to Bolzoni Auramo’s installation and service instructions. There is no other express warranty. Bolzoni Auramo makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other representation or warranty. Our obligations under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement of any defective parts of the attachment and we assume no liability for incidental, special or consequential damages under this warranty. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Bolzoni Auramo’s liability arising out of the supplying or use of the equipment shall in no case exceed the contract price. Repair or replacement will be the sole and exclusive remedy. • Bolzoni Auramo assumes no responsibility for damage or injury, either direct or consequential, resulting from or occasioned by possession or use of its products. • In case of dispute or controversy, resolution of such dispute shall fall under the legal jurisdiction of the Court of the city where the goods were manufactured. General Information & Requirements Lift Truck Requirements

01 Lift truck capacity

All lift truck basic capacity tables assume that the truck is operated with forks only. The rated capacity is given for a load with a center of gravity a particular distance from the vertical face of the forks. This distance is called the load center. Loads with a center of gravity further than this will reduce the lift truck rated capacity. Attachments reduce the lift truck rated capacity. The lift truck manufacturer is responsible for giving the final capacity rating for the forklift/attachment combination.

Lifting height

Required lifting height, mast type and need for freelift depend on the customer’s requirements. When selecting the mast for attachment use, note that the lifting height requirements may differ from those of a standard lift truck equipped with forks only. For example, when stacking paper rolls, the paper rolls have to be clamped from the middle of the roll. The paper roll height and paper roll clamp mounting height affect the required lift mast lifting height. The actual lifting height requirement can be substantially higher when compared to lifting pallet loads to the same height.

Standard mountings

The standard mounting of many Bolzoni Auramo lift truck attachments is an ITA/ISO 2328 class II / III / IV mounting. Nonstandard or special mountings are not included in the attachment price. A complete technical description is always required whenever a non-standard or special mounting is selected.

Integral mountings

An integral mounting replaces the original lift truck fork carriage and its roller brackets completely. When compared to a standard hook-type mounting, an attachment with an integral mounting often saves the lift truck residual capacity as the lift truck & attachment combination has smaller effective thickness and lower weight. In many cases this mounting solution also offers optimal visibility through the attachment. A complete technical description of the original fork carriage is always required when an integrated attachment is selected. Consult Bolzoni Auramo regarding product availability.

Special mountings

Special and modified mountings are available on request for many attachment models. Typically, special mountings include different Pin Type, Terminal West and wheel loader mountings. As with integral mountings, a complete technical description is always required when selecting a special mounting. Consult Bolzoni Auramo regarding product availability.

Lift mast forward tilt Some rotating paper roll clamp attachment models require the lift mast to have a certain amount of forward tilt available. These clamps utilize the lift truck tilt when horizontal rolls are lifted. If the forward tilt has been limited, the attachment specifications may have to be changed. Consult the attachment specifications for further information.

General Information & Requirements Lift Truck Hydraulic Requirements

01 Hydraulic functions

A hydraulically operated lift truck attachment requires at least one hydraulic function from the lift truck hydraulic system. Fork positioners and clamps require normally two hydraulic functions. Special attachments, and attachment combinations, may require three, four, or even more hydraulic functions. See the product data tables for further information.

Hydraulic pressure

Hydraulic pressure defines the operation force of the attachment. The attachment structure, seals, hoses and other hydraulic components define the maximum hydraulic pressure. With some attachment models the hydraulic pressure is of vital importance. For example, all clamp attachments generate the clamping force from the hydraulic pressure, and the lower the hydraulic pressure is, the lower is also the lifting ability of a clamp. Whereas with non-clamping fork attachments, it is recommended to move forks with a low hydraulic pressure to reduce the load and pallet damage risk. If the lift truck hydraulic pressure exceeds the maximum attachment connection pressure, separate pressure relief valves must be installed to protect the attachment. Oil flow

Oil flow to the attachment defines the operation speed of the attachment forks or arms. Normally the attachments operate well within a wide oil flow range. Particular attention should be paid to the oil flow when selecting an attachment with multiple arm pairs or a very wide opening. Note also that the hydraulic hoses going over the lift mast, hose reels, swivel blocks and hose connectors may throttle the oil flow to the attachment and affect the operation speed. Oil grade and quality

All Bolzoni Auramo lift truck attachments are compatible with standard, good-quality petroleum-based hydraulic oils. Consult the manufacturer if there is a need to use water-based or bio-hydraulic oils.
