hen Pf FLyers approached me to shoot their summer catalog I knew I wanted it to fit into a book of some sort. I knew I wanted to see the work tell a story that could be put on a coffee table and revisited from time to time, unlike the fast paced and often forgotten work on the internet. I wanted the work to carry a message but I wouldn't come to know that message until the very last days of our trip. This magazine “Turbo is that message and with all the profits from this zine we will be donating goods and services to a chosen environmental, or humanitarian cause. Fast forward about a month since Belize and I knew that this idea had to be made into a reality. Not just for myself but for the other creatives who's work should be seen in real life. Collegues and friends who bust there bean bags to create amazing work purely for the love of doing and not for the validation of followers or likes. For anyone who travels, or day dreams, for anyone who's back or fingers are blistered and sore this zine is for you. This zine is for doer's, makers, creators, story tellers and for anyone who wants more out of life. All are welcome.

If you want it bad enough, make it. Atticus Radley

WELCOME TO TURBO A ONE OFF ZINE THAT WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER BE PRINTED AGAIN. NAMED AFTER ONE OF OUR BEST FRIENDS AND ALL AROUND DO-ER KEVIN “TURBO” TOLDERLUND THIS ZINE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO MAKE SHIT HAPPEN. PEOPLE PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES OF THEIR CRAFT AND HELPING OTHER ALONG THE WAY. TURBOHIMSELF EMBODIES THAT SPIRIT AND WE HOPE THIS ZINE DOES HIM JUSTICE.

PLACENCIAGA You know how they say when it rains it pours? Yah me neither. When Pf asked me to go somewhere warm to shoot their summer catalog my first thought was f*ck yes I get to bring my friends on a trip and my second thought was god dammit how the hell am I supposed to get work done with my fiends there. I hadn’t been to Belize before I knew their were Mayan ruins there and it was by the ocean. That was enough to sell me on why we should shoot there. Fortunately for me P.f. liked the idea as well. In avoidance of expectation I try to plan very losley for trips like this knowing a few major locations and a few back ups where we can get all the essential photos we need. Little did I know that our only female model would back out at the airport....BOYS TRIP! It definitely worked out great despite this hiccup. I travel just a little more than the average person so for me I didn’t really expect this trip to be too amazing or to see anything that I haven’t already seen in other countries but the truth is the destination is such a small percentage of why we travel. Even after all the trips I have been on I have never met such gracious and friendly people as I did in Belize despite all the warnings we were told before visiting the country. If there are two things I would take away from this trip its 1 go with the flow don’t force things just let them come naturally. 2
