ARKANSAS TECH 2022 FOOTBALL

ArkAnsAs' BAnD OF DisTincTiOn

One of the traditions immersed in Arkansas Tech University history is the university's marching band, better known throughout the United States as "Arkansas' Band of Distinction."

The Arkansas Tech marching band has captured the musical minds of football fans and music enthusiasts throughout the southwest region for decades with a contemporary style and sound.

Arkansas' Band of Distinction appears at all ATU home football games. The Arkansas Tech marching band also participates in a variety of parades and marching exhibitions.

Dr. Daniel A. Belongia, professor of music, is in his eighth year as director of bands at Arkansas Tech. Dr. Jonathan Nash is in his second year as ATU assistant professor of music and associate director of bands.
