STUDENT ORIENTATION AND REGISTRATION
NOTES
Welcome
TO THE RAVEN COMMUNITY! Even though I was an Anderson University student in the "dark ages" (before the internet and social media), it doesn't seem that long ago when I was in your shoes — meeting new friends and making critical decisions about my future. As I think about that time of my life, I believe it was God who led me to AU as a student, and back again as president. Today, I hope you’re looking forward to joining the AU family as you create your schedule, meet fellow Ravens, and learn about the ways we seek to fulfill our core values of excellence, generosity, servant leadership, responsibility, and integrity. Anderson University is a place that continues to challenge and inspire me, and I’m so grateful to have you here with us today. We can’t wait to learn more about you and your story. Sincerely, John S. Pistole, ’78 President

STUDENT LIFE Did you know that 80% of college students’ time is spent outside the classroom? Academics are just one part of the college experience. That’s why the Center for Student Life exists-- to help students explore paths for holistic development and navigate their invitation to be co-creators, transformed by Jesus Christ, for ongoing service to others. Simply put, they make life and growth outside the classroom possible.
