AUBURN-WEST ALABAMA SERIES This is the third meeting between the Tigers and Tigers although this one will not count in the record books. Auburn is 2-0 vs. West Alabama with the most recent game between the two being on Dec. 1, 1960, when the school was known as Livingston. Auburn won that game 90-50. Langford is the first No. 1 player in the state of Alabama that has signed with Auburn since Selma High School's Doc Robinson signed on Nov. 13, 1995. Robinson became a first-team All-American point guard who helped Auburn to the 1999 SEC Championship and a 29-4 record, a state of Alabama Div. I record for wins. Auburn-West Alabama Game Notes -- page 3

Auburn plays its first seven games at home before playing a pair of Big East teams. The Tigers play Rutgers in the DirecTV SEC-Big East Invitational in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Dec. 11 followed by a road game at South Florida on Dec. 15. QUOTING TONY BARBEE (On Auburn's early season practice) “Practice is coming along at a little bit of a slower pace than I would like, but everything is so new. We are having to put in the entire system from the ground up. It takes time. Obviously, there is not enough time in the day to practice. There are not enough practices in terms with how many we are able to have before the first exhibition game. We are having to prioritize it as a staff with the things that are most important that we get in before we hit the court on Nov. 3. After that, we will re-evaluate where we are to our second exhibition game on what we want to get in. I like where we are right now, but we still have a long way to go." (Is it hard to believe how fast time has gone by with the first exhibition game coming up?) “It is amazing. It seems like I went to sleep after we left the press conference
