The car park closes one hour after the end of a performance. Visit asbwaterfronttheatre.co.nz or call the box office to book a space.
Theatre Opening Hours
The box office, foyers and bar open at least one hour prior to each Auckland Theatre Company show. Our theatre bar offers a range of premium wines, beverages, food and ice cream.
Q Theatre
Q Theatre, at 305 Queen St, Auckland CBD, is relaxed and stimulating. Its foyer area is full of people enjoying a drink after work and theatre-goers catching up before a show.
Transport
Auckland CBD is a busy and bustling place in the evening and this can mean traffic and parking queues, especially when there are roadworks under way. We encourage you to allow plenty of time to get to the venue, particularly when you’re heading in for a show.
Public
Q Theatre is a short walk from Britomart central train station and many bus routes have stops right outside. For train and bus routes to Q Theatre, please visit at.govt.nz and type in 305 Queen Street, Auckland Central, as your destination.
Parking
Parking is available at Q Theatre, including at the Civic Car Park where accessible parking is available.

Premium Seating
Select premium seats and watch all the action unfold from the best seats in the house. Premium seating is available for all performances.
Preview and Standard only Production seasons are made of two Preview performances prior to opening night, whose tickets are available at bargain prices, and the rest of the season has Standard pricing. There is no longer premiere week pricing.
Changes to Snap a Seat
Snap a Seat subscribers will be among the first to see each show, for a bargain price. You can now pick the Preview performance that suits you and choose your seats.
See more, save more
The more shows you add to your Design Your Own subscription, the greater the discount applied per ticket. When you pick four shows, you'll save 10% of Standard ticket prices; if you see five shows, you'll save 15%. Or, save up to 30% when you see all six shows with a Full Season Pass.
Fixed prices
As it is with airlines, our prices start low and rise as the performance becomes busier. However, prices for subscribers are immune to any changes in price – as a subscriber, you are able to purchase additional tickets at the additional ticket rates on page 3 – all year round!

SUBSCRIPTION TICKET SALES
1. Auckland Theatre Company offers a complimentary ticket exchange service for all subscribers up to 48 hours prior to the performance for which the tickets were booked.
2. Ticket exchanges within 48 hours of the performance for which the original tickets were booked will be made at the sole discretion of Auckland Theatre Company and may attract a transfer fee.
3. Tickets can be exchanged for others for any other performance within the same season of the same show. Tickets cannot be exchanged from one show to another or from one season to another.
4. Auckland Theatre Company’s box office may require receiving the original tickets prior to an exchange being made. No other seats will be held whilst the box office awaits the original tickets.
5. If you are a subscriber, there will be no additional charge if you exchange a ticket for another ticket of the same value.
6. If your ticket exchange involves transferring a ticket to a ticket with a higher price (for example, exchanging a ticket from a Preview show for a ticket to a Standard show, exchanging a B Reserve ticket for an A Reserve or Premium ticket, or exchanging an A Reserve ticket for a Premium ticket), you will be charged the difference between the two ticket prices. Auckland Theatre Company will not refund the difference between the ticket prices if you choose to exchange your ticket for a less expensive ticket (for example, exchanging a ticket from a Standard show for a ticket to a Preview show, moving from Premium to A or B Reserve or from A Reserve to B Reserve).
7. If you exchange a ticket issued as part of a Theatre Club, in the case of between one and five tickets being transferred to another performance in the show season, you will be charged the difference between the Theatre Club price and the five play Design Your Own subscription price for the performance your club member wishes to attend.

8. Reserved seating is sold as the best available. In some circumstances, it may not be possible to meet your requested seat preference. In this instance, seats that are as close as possible to your requested seating will be allocated to you.
9. Tickets will not be refunded once they have been purchased and cannot be exchanged, except as required by law.
10. Any handling and transactions fees will not be refunded under any circumstance.
11. As a subscriber, you will receive emails from Auckland Theatre Company. You are welcome to unsubscribe from these at any time.

TICKET EXCHANGES
Auckland Theatre Company provides a complimentary no-reason-required ticket exchange service exclusively for subscribers. Before we can process your transfer, we first need to receive your original tickets. Prior to this, no exchange will be processed nor seats reserved. You can also tear the tickets in two and email us a photo of them, as long as all details on the tickets are still clearly visible.
