Asset Realisation Services - Emerging Auction House based In the North West

Asset Realisation Service (ARS) is an emerging auction-house based in the North West, managed by the dynamic duo and stalwarts of the auction industry, James Ashworth & Nathan Richardson

Launched in 2019, Asset Realisation Services is rapidly growing a loyal and active following from across the UK and overseas, customers who are finding their flexible and honest approach and their diverse auction lots very appealing.

“Having worked together from our time at BPI, we discussed how we could offer something new to the UK market - the same professional standards and integrity but try and make it easier for customers to view, bid and buy from us.” explains Nathan, “We have access to some amazing stock, we recently liquidated several containers of stock reclaimed from a completed large scaled construction project in the Middle East - power tools, batteries, drill bits and discs, many unopened and still in retail packaging.

We’ve had bidders from all 4 corners of the UK grabbing great deals to use on their own local projects.”

Last year the team reported a tremendously successful classic car sale too, which resulted in them having to arrange shuttle buses to their auction site from a nearby car par to cater for everyone who wanted to join, over 1000 people!

During lockdown they’ve continued to operate by partnering with Bidpath to host regular online auctions too which has proved very popular with customers.

“Customers can register online to view the lots up to 2 weeks in advance and then participate in the live auction to continue bidding” says James, “our online auctions have been a safe, secure and trusted way for our clients to realise the value in their assets and for our customers to get some great deals during lockdown!”

ARS is hopeful of hosting a new auction every 2 weeks during the summer and at the time of publication has a `Powertools and Site Equipment” auction in progress, a ‘Commercial Vehicles” auction and planning a new Classic Car auction too.

“We’ve just launched a new auction for heavy duty lifting equipment next month which is a new sector for us but we’re excited about one of the star lots which is for sale by private treaty alongside the auction - it’s a heavy duty winch and crane system used in the recent construction project at the London City Airport. It’s seriously big and a great deal for anyone refitting lifting equipment in a land or maritimebased location” states James! For more information visit www.
