Classic Cars & Motorcycles

A 7-lot classics auction with plenty to offer

One of the headliners is a stunning 1974 Triumph Stag. Lot 1001 has a guide price of £12,000 - £15,000, and has spent several years off the road and enjoyed a major overhaul, which included a colour change to Triumph Pimento Red.

The bodywork is in excellent condition and boasts its original sills and inners - and all underbody is sound and original. The engine had a total rebuild, it was then coupled to a ZF420 4-speed auto box, which has transformed the performance. Diving deeper into the catalogue, further stand out lots are:

Lot 1002 (guide price: £10,000 - £15,000) A Daimler250 V8 auto in dark blue. REG JDX 657F registered January 1968.

The car had a full restoration in 1994 at a cost of £13,000 and all receipts are included in the lot. Updates included 4 chrome wire wheels in as new condition and 4 matching tyres, a new poppy red leather interior and blue carpets, electronic ignition system, full stainless steel exhaust system and radio. The car has been in a dry and centrallyheated garage for the part 11 years. It has been inactive for the last 5 years and there are some jobs the next owner may like to consider – carb clean and tune-up, driver seat re-springing, addressing the slight blistering on the driver’s door.

Lot 1003 (guide price: £3,000-5,000) This good, honest MG Midget 1275 cc was first registered in May 1971.

The car has been owned by the same person since November 2014 and the mileage reads 20585. The previous owner had the car for thirty years and fitted a new engine and wings in that time. It’s a solid car with Miniite wheels and original spare. It also comes with a chrome front bumper, fixing brackets (never been fitted), and a new front number plate. The new hood, fitted 3 or 4 years ago, has never seen rain. Two Tonneau MG Midget covers (unused) are included in the lot.

Lot 1004 (guide price: £1,000-£1,500) A chance to purchase a great little project and an iconic Italian vehicle.

This Vespa Piaggio PX125E, G144VJH was first registered 18th September 1989 and has an odometer reading of 11432. With V5 and a full year MOT, it also comes with a back rest and luggage rack.
