About EIP The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (EIP) was established by the School of Business, The American University in Cairo in 2010 to build on the School’s Mission: to create an environment that fosters the development of principled and innovative business leaders and entrepreneurs who can make a difference. EIP identifies, mentors, incubates, connects and supports the youth with talent and facilitates their success beyond AUC across Egypt and the Region. Since its launch, EIP has been active in creating awareness, mentoring, competitions, training, incubating, boot camping and connecting entrepreneurs with investors. Over a short period, EIP activities addressed over 6,000 entrepreneurs from all over Egypt: Cairo, Giza, Mansoura, Alexandria and Aswan and in the Middle East, Lebanon and Dubai. As part of EIP’s development in 2013, it manages AUC s newly launched first incubator: AUC Venture Lab; a start-up accelerator and incubator that is located in the School of Business and serves AUC and extends beyond.
