WELCOME TO THE SHOW!
Happy Holidays!
We’re excited to welcome you back to the Kentucky Center during this season of Thanksgiving. We’re especially thankful that you’re all here to enjoy this amazing production. And we’re also very thankful and would like to give a shout-out to all of you who support the Louisville Theatrical Association’s Amy Kessler Education program. The program provides tickets to students who wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience a professional theatrical performance without YOU! It’s fully funded by subscribers and serves over 1,500 students each season.
Students from Brenda Cowan Elementary (Lexington), Meade County schools, Bullitt Central High, Greathouse Traditional and the Trager Family JCC After School Drama program were awarded tickets to last month’s presentation of Fiddler on the Roof. Kids from East Jessamine High School are here for Pretty Woman. In February, Annie will welcome Carrithers Middle School, Lincoln Performing Arts Elementary, Grayson County High School, Bloom Elementary, the Mary Ryan Academy and Bell County Schools. And that’s just the first half of the season! Big thanks to the educators who understand the importance of the arts in their students’ lives, giving their personal time to make this opportunity happen. Thank you again to all of the subscribers who make this possible.
On behalf of the Louisville Team (Angela, Jan, Amanda, Kevin, Hillary, Cassie, Hannah and Matt), and the Louisville Theatrical Association’s Board of Directors – Happy Holidays. May the season bring you good health, family time and lots of Holiday musicals.
Enjoy the Show!

Image: Alphonse Mucha Detail of Gismonda, 1894 Color lithograph 851 16 × 293⁄16 in.
Alphonse Mucha: Art Nouveau Visionary is organized by the Mucha Foundation, Prague. The exhibition is curated by Tomoko Sato.
Czech-born Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939) was one of the most celebrated artists in Paris at the turn of the 20th century. As an influential force behind the Art Nouveau movement, he created sumptuous posters and advertising—promoting such everyday products as cigarette papers and tea biscuits—that transformed the streets of Paris into open-air art exhibitions. Alphonse Mucha: Art Nouveau Visionary celebrates the Mucha Trust Collection’s first major U.S. tour in 20 years, featuring a vast array of posters, illustrations, ornamental objects, and rarely seen sculpture, photographs, and self-portraits. Support for this exhibition provided by: Media sponsorship from: Exhibition season sponsored by: Debra and Ronald Murphy Arthur J. and Mary Celeste Lerman Charitable Foundation The Sociable Weaver Foundation
