Welcome to Eyrie Theatre Company’s presentation of Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
We are so excited and grateful that you are here, and we hope you have a great time in St. X’s beautiful theater! Beauty and the Beast, Jr. is not only a show filled with great music, big dance numbers and fantastic characters, it also has a strong and relevant message…you can’t judge what is inside a person from their outward appearance. If you have the patience and wisdom to look beyond the surface, you can begin to understand the true beauty that lies within a person.
That message is one that we at Holy Trinity and Eyrie Theatre Company, especially, emphasize with our students. We are dedicated to building community, first and foremost. Our theater community is a place where students can take risks, step out of their comfort zones and gain a different perspective in a place that is safe and accepts everyone. We work very hard to see beyond the surface and recognize each student’s special gifts and talents.
We are privileged and blessed to be a part of helping students discover their special gifts and talents, and we are beyond proud to offer the opportunity to participate in theater to students in grades one through eight. While our theater is being renovated into a state-of-the art facility to carry us into the future of performing arts education, we are so very grateful for the kindness and the generosity of St. Xavier High School for giving us a temporary home for this big and beautiful show!
Thank you so much for coming to the show and supporting Holy Trinity’s Eyrie Theatre Company. Enjoy the show!
Michelle Harrington Artistic Director – Eyrie Theatre Company Music/Drama Teacher Holy Trinity Parish SchoolsWe are thrilled you can join us for this dynamic show! Mrs. Harrington, Mrs. Sharp, and the entire cast and crew have worked exceptionally hard on this production over the last several months. Along the way, they have developed an outstanding community that supports and encourages each other to take risks on the stage and to find their potential as performing artists.
Our Eyrie Theatre Company continues to grow with around 30% of our student population involved in our performing arts. We are extremely proud of the talent and passion these students and adults possess to put on such incredible performances.
Holy Trinity is a blessed, Catholic community unlike any in the Archdiocese of Louisville. It is one where, a few short years ago, we had a dream of a state-of-the-art theater for our students, and now we are weeks away from opening our theater. We worked as hard as we could to have the theater ready for this show, but due to shipping and construction delays we fell short of our desired deadline. We are excited and proud to be able to have a venue that will allow all students the opportunity to follow their passions and dreams and do so in a place that can showcase their talents to the fullest.
Please be on the lookout in the upcoming months for Open House opportunities to come and walk through the newly renovated theater. We know everyone will be impressed by all of the improvements to this historic theater.
We recently started Phase 2 of our renovation to this theater and surrounding spaces. If you have interest in assisting us financially with providing a dynamic performance opportunity for children, please reach out to either one of us.
Thank you for your support of Holy Trinity’s Eyrie Theatre Company.
We hope you enjoy the show!

AUTOGRAPHS
Anna Colvin (Narrator, Napkin, Wolf and Villager) I’ve really enjoyed all of the musical theater shows I’ve been in for many reasons. The choreography is always so much fun, and I’ve loved the fun we have off stage and the community we build. I have been in every musical since second grade, and they have all been great in their own way. My first one was EIEI Oops! Being in the Eyrie Theatre Company has made me more confident to be in front of people on stage and in other areas of life as well.
Molly Eckert (Mrs. Potts) After watching my first Holy Trinity musical, Peter Pan, all I could think about was getting up on that stage and performing. Now, it’s my third and final show here with Eyrie Theatre Company. Wow, it’s crazy to see how fast time flies. From my first show, Rock of Ages, to finishing as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, being a part of the Eyrie Theatre Company has been an amazing experience. Working with such a talented and supportive group is something I will never forget.
Ryleigh Fuchs (Narrator, Napkin) I came to Holy Trinity in seventh grade, and have participated in the Addams Family
and Beauty an the Beast. I had so much fun during Adams Family. I’m really glad I decided to join theater.
Annabel Hammer (Narrator, Villager) Being a part of Eyrie Theater over the last three years has been so much fun. My first year I was a Ninja, and then in the Addams Family I was an Ancestor. This year, I am very excited to be a Narrator. I am so glad I joined because I have made so many new friends. I am very sad to be leaving, but I have made so many good memories.
Caroline Janson (Silly girls, Wolf) I am an eighth grader at Holy Trinity and have been doing musical theater since first grade. I am so excited to be a part of the Beauty and the Beast production this year! I’ve been on the stage crew and I’ve been in the cast for previous junior high musicals. I’ve had so much fun over the years learning the songs and choreography, and also just having a memorable time with the cast and crew. I will miss everyone after I graduate from Holy Trinity!
Trevor Knapek (Prince, Beast) I got my start with the Eyrie Theatre Company designing digital backdrops for Rock of
Ages and The Addams Family. As a visual artist, my participation helped me grow my skills from hand drawings to digital medium. This year, I decided to stretch my artistic talent to include performance and was excited to be cast in a lead role on the stage. I have loved getting to know the cast and crew and really appreciate how everyone supports each other.
Jacqueline Kocian (Narrator, Villager) As they say, the show must go on! Covid stopped us from producing Beauty and the Beast several years ago, but this year we are excited to make this production happen. I’ve loved getting to be part of such a talented group. I am going to miss being part of the cast, hearing about Herbert the ghost that haunts the stage and missing many friends who I’ve gotten to know. It has been wonderful to work and learn from Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Sharp. Everyone has put hours and hours into making sure we are prepared and ready for a great production. All of the shows we have done have been fun, but my favorite was Rock of Ages. When I started musical theater, our shows took place in the cafeteria, the move to the Eyrie Theatre has been a boon for the program. What a difference eight years can make. I’m going to miss the singing, dancing and long dress rehearsals. There is nothing more satisfying than when it all comes together. I'm a narrator for Beauty and the Beast and can’t wait until you see our production. Please join me in thanking Mrs. Harrington and her family for all they have done to help us shine.
Layla Knight (Chip) I have been a part of Eyrie Theatre Company since I was in kindergarten, and have loved every
second of it. I have built so many friendships throughout the years. I’m so lucky to have worked with Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Sharp. I’m sad to be leaving but I’m excited for all of the new opportunities I have to come. I’m so thankful for the Eyrie Theatre Company and everything it has done for me!
Ruby Lilla (Monsieur D’Arque) With this show my time at Eyrie Theatre is coming to an end, but I’ll never forget the fond memories I have here. With my friends, with my directors, with my castmates, with everyone that helped make theater so amazing and fun at HT. Eyrie Theatre is something else, it’s something I will miss so much, along with my friends and directors. I’ve been in this company for all the time I’ve been at Holy Trinity and since Barnyard MOOO-sicle, I’ve been hooked on this theater company. I’m so very thankful that I got to be a part of this wonderful company and to be associated with Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Sharp. I’m proud to have gotten to know all my friends and built such amazing relationships along the way. From the cafeteria stage to the beautiful Clifton Theater, There is nothing at Holy Trinity I will miss more than Eyrie Theatre.
Kat MacDonald (Villager #5) Beauty and the Beast is my first play with Eyrie Theatre and it has been the perfect way to celebrate my eighth grade year. I have had so much fun with the whole cast and crew and I'm grateful for the memories I've made. We can't wait to finally bring Beauty and the Beast to the stage!
Abby Martin (Cogsworth) I have been in every Holy Trinity Musical since the first
grade and all I can say is that it’s given me so much confidence. I have grown up with my fellow castmates and will never forgot my experience at Eyrie Theatre Company.
Zoe Mayers (Lumiere) Eighth grade, it is so surreal to me that in a few short months I will be leaving this, not behind me but in front of me as a guide to my future. Eyrie Theatre Company has taught me how to be me and be proud of who I am. Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Sharp keep my focus on the right things. Don’t be fooled by their welcoming demeanor and positive attitude, because they know your capabilities and will not give up on your talent. I started theater in first grade with Bugz Picnic, I was a lady bug, now I’m in Beauty and the Beast playing Lumiere — I didn’t see that coming! Thank you to Mrs.Harrington who always encouraged me, and thank you to my dad who inspired me to be confident and own the stage. I know he’s looking down at me with a grin on his face.
Molly Mercer (Belle) Ever since I came to Holy Trinity in kindergarten, I’ve been doing musicals. All the amazing things I’ve learned, friends I’ve made, and people I’ve met in theater are unforgettable and will always have a special place in my heart. Mrs Harrington has been my biggest role model and inspiration ever since Day One. I’m so glad I get to be a part of not only an amazing show, but an incredible family for my eighth grade year. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me and always been there for me!
Dagny Morgan (Narrator, Napkin, Villager)
I came to Holy Trinity in sixth grade, during the coronavirus pandemic.
My sister wanted to do the musical, so my mom encouraged me to try it also. I had a lot of fun and made some new friends, so I decided to keep doing it. This is my third junior high performance and also performing in Rock of Ages and The Addams Family.
Gabby Taylor (Old Woman, Enchantress, Bookseller) I have been a part of the Eyrie Theatre Company for two amazing years. For the first year, I was a crew member for Addams Family. I had such a great time that I ended up signing up for Beauty and the Beast and got the Enchantress role! The entire time I've been a part of this company, I've felt like a part of a family. I want to say thank you so much to Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Sharp for everything that they do. I'm so sad to be leaving but thank you to everyone who is a part of this incredible family!
Reese Thomas (Babette) I have been involved with the Eyrie Theater Company since I started at Holy Trinity in kindergarten. I have had so much fun in many shows, but Beauty and the Beast has definitely been my favorite production so far. I like the community of musical theater, and Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Sharp have always been a great help and inspiration to me and the whole cast.
Hank Vickers (Stage Manager) Eyrie Theater Company has been a blessing to me for the past three years as a crew member in Rock of Ages, The Addams Family, and Beauty and the Beast. It has given me a safe and fun environment to be in and to get away from the drama of middle school.
