Celebrating The Life Of Tony Gaughan... Tony loved words, loved literature, linguistically influenced and boastful. He loved to travel the green fields of Ireland and the roads that took him West to where he was born in 1951. His travels brought him to sail the Shannon with Pauline and friends and dock at tiny villages nightly to listen to the traditional sound of his native ceoil agus craic. Tony enjoyed fishing and what he hooked was brought home to cook and feast upon, to which he shared the recipe for all to taste. A natural and master chef who served as many as 12 or 14 course meals around a welcome table. While his guitar playing was hard on the ears we took turns to endure it, having satisfied ourselves with his lavish meals and fine wines. His motto, “In vino veritas� (the truth is in the wine) Let us not forget ...
