Norwegian Air has confirmed that Cork passengers will be able to book flights from early next year after it was granted a permit to commence transatlantic flights from Cork and Shannon. It is also believed that introductory offers could be as low as €69 when the flights commence. When the airline first announced its plans for direct transatlantic flights Norwegian said it would begin with flights from Cork to Boston and then consider adding NewYork at a subsequent time.
