the August Wilson Center’s three outstanding caterers, Common plea Catering, parkhurst dining services and shallot Custom events, have a full spectrum of menu options. Continental or full breakfasts, lunch buffets, box lunches, served lunches, appetizers, dinner buffets and served dinners are all offered. simply select a caterer and tell them what you need.

Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, provides a sophisticated, yet functional setting, whether you’re planning a large corporate event or an intimate social gathering.

this world-class cultural center (fully accessible for individuals with disabilities) has a space for any occasion, including: • community events • business meetings

the 4,430-square-foot Davenport family fund main lobby with its contemporary design and a capacity of 1,161 is perfect for a large party or reception. the cost is $1,700 or $2,000. A considerably smaller gathering can be accommodated in the August Wilson Center Café, just off the main lobby. this 1,600-square-foot space welcomes 85 seated or 175 standing. in warmer weather, enjoy outdoor seating on the roy A. Hunt foundation Patio. the rental fee is $550 or $650. the richard P. & Virginia C. simmons second floor lobby has 1,906 square feet of space and a capacity of 253. it can be rented for $750 or $1,000.
