For private meetings and business events, the Bolling Club and Community Center is the ideal venue in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area, offering the very best in amenities, service and affordability. With 340,000 square feet of space and 12 rooms available we can ensure to find the right space for you. The Bolling Club is located within minutes of historic monuments and attractions of our nation’s capital, National Harbor and Old Town Alexandria. It’s also only 15 minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport and 45 minutes from Dulles International and BaltimoreWashington International Airports. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) is a gated and secure location with free parking. Out of town guests can stay at Gateway Inns and Suites, conveniently located within one mile of the Club.

Catering Our friendly staff offers convenient and competitively priced catering packages for personal or work-related functions, both large and small. Your Catering Manager will assist you with creating a customized package to best suits your needs. They will offer advice on the available menu selections, pricing and arrangements. Should you desire items not listed in this brochure, please feel free to inquire as to their availability. Our dedicated team will work with you to make certain you have the flawless event. Dinnerware, table cloths and cloth napkins are included with all catering packages.

The Catering Manager will assist you in planning your special event. However, the information listed below will help you understand the appropriate amounts needed for your reception.

Open bar Beverages are dispensed to the guests free of charge with the host/sponsor assuming responsibility for payment. A predetermined dollar amount or time limit may be set in the contract. A register tab will be computed until the pre-set limit is reached.

A service charge of 20% will be applied to the total cost of the open bar. The host/sponsoris responsible for assuring minors do not consume supervised or unsupervised alcoholic beverages. There is a $150 sales guarantee per hour. If your party does not meet the minimum, a charge of $75 per bar, per hour will be applied to cover labor costs.

Designated Driver Program The Bolling Club will provide free coffee, soda and juice to the designated drivers identified by the party host. Staff reserves the right to stop serving alcoholic beverages to any individual they feel is intoxicated or nearing intoxication. No outside food or beverages are permitted in the bolling club.

Policies The Bolling Club requires a minimum of 75 persons in order to host a wedding reception. All receptions are scheduled for four hours. Additional time can be arranged at a charge of $250 per half hour over 4 hours. Cancellations: A non-refundable cancellation fee of $500 is required within seven days from the date of the initial booking. The fee will be applied to the final invoice. Written Guarantee: The sponsor reserving the function must sign a written guarantee which includes an estimated number of guests who will attend. The catering office will need the final number of guests five business days prior to the date of the event. If a final count is not provided or if there are late additions, the sponsor will be charged for the larger number of guests provided to the catering office either from the initial booking or the late additional count. Party Host: The party host is responsible for the conduct of their guests while on club premises. Any damage to, or theft of, club property caused by any guests will be added to the final invoice. Service Charge: A service charge of 20% will be applied to the total cost of all food and beverages. Sunday and Monday Functions: There is a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 in created sales for private functions in addition to a 30% service charge. Multiple Entrees: If two entrĂŠes are selected, there will be an additional charge of $2 per plate. A color code must be used when two entrees are to be served. A color code is either a name tag or place card by which the server may distinguish which entrĂŠe the guest has endured. The responsibility for color coding each individual place setting rests with the party host. Decorations: The party host is responsible for all decorations. Decorations cannot be attached to club property without prior permission of the Club Manager. Glitter or like decorations are not permitted. Violations of this policy will be charged for the damages/clean up to the facility. Please make arrangements with the Club Manager for placement of specialized items such as embossed napkins and favors. Wedding Cakes: The Bolling Club Catering Manager will provide suggested vendors for wedding cakes. Visitor Center: It is the responsibility of Security Police to stop all vehicles without a proper identification. The sponsor of the event must provide three copies of an alphabetized guest list to the Visitor Center five business days prior to the date of the event.

The Window The lead glass window “Tribute” located in our grand hall entrance was designed by artist Joseph Pisani. The leaded glass is the work of artist Mark Anderson. The original was modified to include symbols of manned flight. This window represents the universe in which manned flight was conceived – made reality by the Wright Brothers and moved a step beyond by the space shuttle.

Composed of eight individual panels, the overall window measures nine feet, eight inches by 11 feet , two inches and encompasses 589 pieces of glass and 63 different colors.
