Bill Gates: “At least once a year I try to visit India to get some inspiration.�
Purpose: to implement solar power batteries at the remotest village of Himalayas. For more than 1200 years this village has been surviving without electricity. Duration: 16 days Fundraising: 3000 Eur depending on the number of sponsors In total: selected 20 participants from different countries who give their time and effort to make impact in the local communities
Last year: Due to the expedition solar power batteries have been implemented at the Phugtal monastery which was built 2500 years ago in 5 km height. More facts - click on the video below:
