UNDERSTANDING ARTHRITIS: CAUSES, TREATMENTS AND RESEARCH

Ages 40 and older

Clinically diagnosed arthritis affects almost 60 million Americans, including 300,000 kids under the age of 16. It is the #1 cause of disability in America, with reports of arthritis pain causing many people to have difficulty with their daily activities. In this 3-part series, we will discuss what arthritis is – and what it is not – and the various types of arthritis. We will also talk about the potential causes of arthritis, who among us is most at risk, what treatments are available now and what the Arthritis Foundation is doing to support clinical research to find a cure. These presentations will be hosted by the Arthritis Foundation - Colorado.
