Youth Activities Babysitting Workshop

Ages 11-16

Learn infant and child safety, basic first aid, emergency skills and complete fun activities. Receive a Red Cross Super Sitter card upon completion. (This class does not include First Aid/CPR certification). Bring a drink and snack for each day. Please Note: Students must attend BOTH days of this workshop to receive Super Sitter Certification.

SUMMER CAMPS – ALL DAY/ALL WEEK CARE

These camps are designed to provide care for kids on a week-to-week basis. Camps each week are based around a theme and include one field trip, one day of swimming at a city indoor pool and one day of swimming at a city outdoor pool (will be changed to an indoor location in the case of inclement weather). Check-in begins at 7 a.m. for those families that need early drop-off. All campers must be picked up by 5:30 p.m. Majority of programs and activities will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided by Aurora Public Schools. The city of Aurora received the Colorado Stability Grant for 2023 which reduces the cost of the listed camps by $35 each. The cost listed is the reduced price.

Adventure Camp

Adventure camp is designed to provide unique and fun experiences for youth ages 11 and older. Adventure camps are four full-day programs. Youth who register have the option to purchase a Friday pass to the city of Aurora eSports Center at Expo Recreation Center for $20. If an eSports pass is purchased for Friday, parents/guardians will be responsible for dropping off and picking up their children at Expo Recreation Center. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided by Aurora Public Schools. The city of Aurora received the Colorado Stability Grant for 2023 which reduces the cost of the listed camps by $35 each. The cost listed is the reduced price.

Trade Skills

Ages 11-17

Campers who attend Trade Skills Camp will be transported to Colorado Adventure Point every day where they will learn welding, carpentry and metal working! In addition to learning these 3 skills, there will be 1 day of participating in other fun activities at Colorado Adventure Point which includes indoor rock climbing, archery or cooking!

Esports Camp

Ages 11-17

Practice your gaming skills with our first ever Esports Camp. Campers will get to try a variety of games ranging from sports games to action and adventure games such as Rocket League, Overwatch, Minecraft and many more. In addition to gaming, campers will also be swimming daily at Del Mar Pool in the afternoon.

SUMMER CAMPS- DAY TO DAY REGISTRATION

New for summer 2023, based on feedback from the community, we are now offering summer camps where parents/guardians can register for individual days. These camps will have a generic theme for each day where the major craft, project or game is based around that theme. Every day includes swimming in the afternoon except for field trip days. Stem Day

Ages 11-16

It’s time to experiment, build and create! Campers will experience a variety of STEM based activities and will be swimming in the afternoon.

Art Day

Ages 6-12

Express your creative side! We will be doing a variety of projects such as melted crayon art, sculpting and painting. Campers will be swimming in the afternoon.

Sports Day

Ages 6-12

Run, kick, pass, shoot, throw, swing and practice all your athletic skills in a variety of sports. Campers will be swimming in the afternoon.

Field Trip Day

Ages 6-12

Field trip days will be at a variety of locations. Before and after the field trip, campers will be participating in crafts and games.

Free Choice Friday

Ages 6-12

Campers will get to choose from a variety of pre-chosen activities such as gym games, board games, outdoor games, and crafts. Campers will be swimming in the afternoon.
