Myrna ’20 ACTUARIAL SCIENCE GRADUATE “I like math and business. After talking with a professor, I discovered that actuarial science was the perfect blend of the two and could lead to a really interesting career. While the program was challenging, my professors were really supportive. They were always available if I had questions, whether I was asking about classwork, internships, or career preparation. Now I’m preparing to enter the workforce as an actuarial analyst in Chicago.” Hear more from Myrna at aurora.edu/experienceAU.

Luke ’20, ’21 EXERCISE SCIENCE GRADUATE Current Master of Science in Athletic Training student “AU is helping me fulfill a lifelong dream of being involved in athletic training. LEADERSHIP STUDIES AND POLITICAL SCIENCE GRADUATE MPA PLUS ONE GRADUATE Development associate at Hesed House

“When I was an undergraduate student, one of my professors encouraged me to take leadership classes in addition to my political science courses. My student success advisor developed an academic plan to ensure I would still graduate in four years. With that experience and having earned my master’s at AU, I am now prepared to make others’ lives better. AU allowed me to fulfill my passion to serve my community and provided the foundation to help me achieve my goals.” Hear more from Rebecca at aurora.edu/experienceAU.

Prepare for a moment of insight. Something at AU is going to create a spark in you. Perhaps you’ll be introduced to a fascinating subject during a Celebrating Arts and Ideas cultural event. Maybe a mentor will position you for success at your on-campus job. It’s likely that a professor will help you identify a new skill. Or you might find your true calling through one of our volunteer service initiatives. Life-changing moments await you.

On campus, I serve the Student Accounting Society as co-president. I’m also a peer advisor. I’m grateful for all these opportunities because I know they are shaping me for success.” Hear from more Spartans at aurora.edu/experienceAU.

Jason’ 21 ELEMENTARY EDUCATION MAJOR “When I was in high school, I wasn’t that involved and didn’t see myself as a leader.
