Name of the business: Brick Furniture Owner(s) of the business: Stephen Brick Please provide a brief history of the company: We moved to Austin in 1970. My father Donald Brick bought the building from Meyer Wolf. How many employees do you have? 5 full-time and 3 part-time. Tell us a little about your business. What are your specialties? Quality and low price every day. Our service, if you buy from Bricks and if we can fix it we usually don’t charge the customer. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday: 8:30-5:00 and Thursday: 8:30-7:00. Heather and I agree. Skyler, 4 years. He’s a people person and a natural salesperson. He will go the extra mile for you. Bruce and Mark, both 26 years. The greatest delivery guys that I could ask for. I get so many compliments! Heather is Mike’s daughter and has worked Saturdays for the last 8 years. I call her Super Heather! She can do just about anything. Madyson has been with us for 2 years and is very smart and helpful. Jean, 6 months is very efficient and smart. Any other information that would be helpful to know? My father was the hardest working person I’ve ever known. He was my hero, friend and father and I was fortunate to work with him for 35 years. He taught me a lot in that time. My wife says I’m turning into my father, what a great compliment!
