In 1979, Aerodome purchased the airport for which Bruce continued to work for until 1988 when he purchased it and became Austin Aeroflight. How many employees do you have? 6 employees

We will never charg e a landing or ramp fee, or require purchases. W h a t a r e yo u r g o a l s for the upcoming year? Bruce and wife, LuAnn, who is also the office manager at Austin Aeroflight, have three children. Michelle, Crystal, and Christopher. They also have 8 grandchildren. Out of the three kids, only Christopher and Crystal have gotten their pilot license. Christopher has continued with his love for flying which lead him to Embry-Riddle Aeronautics where he graduated with a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics. He was a flight instructor at Austin Aeroflight as well as an air traffic controller for the Red Bulls of the Minnesota National Guard. He currently works as an air traffic controller at the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center in Farmington. Flying has become a family business and looks to continue with the grandkids.

Tell us a little about your business. What are your specialties? We are a full service FBO Fixed Base Operator. We offer airplane maintenance, flight training, storage, fueling, and pilot service. What are some of the new things your business is doing? What are you most proud to tell customers, and why? We have been in business for almost 30 years. Our continued support from our loyal customers is what has kept us in business for so long. We strive to offer the best customer service and help in any way we can.
