BUSINESS REVIEW Owner(s) of the business: David Yerhart Please provide a brief history of the company: Our company started in March of 2009 with one driver (Dave) and one customer and its grown from there. We are the only locally owned trash company in Mower County. How many employees do you have? We have 14 employees. Tell us a little about your business. Our company is a trash removal company. We currently offer yard waste removal, temporary dumpsters, temporary roll offs, residential carts, and commercial containers. Sizes of our containers vary from as small as a 35gal can to as large as a 40yd roll off box.

What are some of the new things your business is doing? Yard Waste is probably our biggest item right now. We recently have started online payments in addition to auto run, auto withdrawal, checks, check by phone, credit cards and cash.

What sets you apart from other companies and why? Well, I would say because, “I CARE”. My company is about customer service. We understand that we cannot please everybody, but we sure try. The value of customers and employees seems to get pushed to the side with some businesses. Not mine. I was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016. After this diagnosis, so many people in the community came together to help me and my family. For this, I am truly grateful. I will continue to repay the community by providing the best service we can. I’m not like any other businesses that are in it for just the money. Myself and my company will also continue to support organizations like LAC (Lyle Area Cancer), Hormel Institute (Paint the Town Pink), the Austin Bruins and several others. These organizations give back to our community in so many ways. I feel that giving back to the community and providing great customer service is what sets my company apart. What are your goals for the upcoming year? Improving overall customer service to our wonderful customers and keeping up with the growth on our 10th year in business.
