BUSINESS REVIEW Name of the business: Greenman HVAC Owner(s) of the business: Brothers, Al Greenman and Steve Greenman Please provide a brief history of the company: Cliff Greenman Distributing began in 1960, operating the company from home, and selling and servicing Majestic fire places and Gravely tractors. In 1965, Cliff purchased the Mill Building from Hormel, which was located east of the 4th Avenue NE dam. Lennox heating and cooling products were added to the business, along with asphalt roofing, and the company grew to 15 employees. On January 29, 1967 the building was destroyed by a fire. Business continued and Cliff retired in 1981, with sons Alan and Steve remaining on. In 1984 the lawn and garden business was dropped to focus on the heating, cooling, and sheet metal demands. Greenman HVAC tradition continues today, our family cares about your family.
What sets you apart from other companies and why? Our employees complete a four-year training course through Sheet Metal Workers Local 10, and are NATE Certified with continued education. The customer receives a job well done by caring employees.
What are some of the new things your business is doing? What are you most proud to tell customers, and why? We continue to provide up-to-date home comfort systems that the homeowner can monitor with a phone while at home or away. Lennox is on the cutting edge of technology and we are proud to represent their high quality products. We are a Lennox Premier Dealer and earned the Lennox Centurion award for our outstanding dealer performance. Te l l u s a l i t t l e a b o u t your business. What are your specialties? We sell and install Lennox home comfor t products and Heat & Glo fireplaces. Our sheet metal shop has the tools to fabricate projects using steel, stainless steel, and copper.
What are your goals for the upcoming year? To continue providing top notch service for our residential and business customers.
