Why do you keep looking for validation in everything you do

You're not that child you were so many years ago

Mummy, Daddy can't protect you from choices that you make

Wake up and smell the roses, they too will prick you if you get too close

Poor me Is the cry you'll hear all over social media

The new platform for weeping and seeking attention it seems

Courage and strength are certainly there to be found

Applauded and forgotten by the pity me crowd

We're paying a heavy price for the sheltered and weak

Who cry foul every time a speed bump appears Change yours gears and understand your purpose
