How does coaching for carers work?
It involves you seeing a carer coach to talk through challenges you would like to try and resolve.

You may or may not have a specific goal. Perhaps you just know broadly where you would like some things to be different.
The coach will help be an impartial ear who is outside of your caring situation. The coach doesn’t give the answers but works with you to find solutions that work for you in your life.
Coaching is not about therapy or counselling.
The coach’s role is to help you uncover options and figure out the actions you can take. Again, as big or small as you decide or can handle. And the focus of coaching is entirely based on each carers’ needs
Carers have found coaching valuable and used the sessions for such things as:
• finding more time for themselves
• getting back into the workforce
• connecting with friends again
• planning for the future
• getting fitter and healthier
