This Scrapbook, housed in the Papers of Terrence (Terry) Bell at the Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives, documents Sydney gay liberation during its most active phase, 1972-1973. The scrapbook contains newspaper and magazine clippings, as well as flyers produced by Sydney Gay Liberation to be handed out at various protests. Newspaper clippings include letters to the editor, feature articles and news reports by writers such Paul Hartigan, Jim Anderson (Co-editor, OZ Magazine), John Lee, David Widdup, Dennis Altman, Peter Brett, Lex Watson, and Sue Wills. Notable protests documented include the ABC demonstration on 11 July 1972, Sex Lib Week from 22 to 30 July 1972, and the Peter Bonsall-Boone demonstration outside St Clement's Anglican Church in Mosman on 12 November 1972.
