Steingold Volvo Cars Embarks on Major Renovation Project

Pawtucket, RI - Steingold Volvo Cars, a fixture in the Rhode Island automotive community since 1934, is undertaking a significant renovation project to enhance customer experience. Scheduled for completion in Summer 2025, the renovation will add over 10,000 square feet to the showroom, embodying the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) design. The new showroom will feature tall, opaque glass panels and a new customer lounge called the Living Room, providing a luxurious and relaxing environment for visitors.

Steingold Volvo Cars, originally an authorized Desoto dealer in the 1940s, has grown to become known as the Volvo Headquarters for Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. In the early 1970s, Steingold was a multifranchise dealer, offering brands such as Pontiac, Peugeot, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lotus, and Clénet. Despite the changes over the years, the dealership has remained true to its core values of honesty, integrity, trust, and respect.

For over 80 years, Steingold Volvo has operated from the same Pawtucket location, serving generations of customers with a commitment to exceptional service.
