Breakfast With The Giant Otters

Take a trip to the tropics and experience the Faces of the Rainforest like never before! After a hot breakfast buffet held in the nearby Meller-Danforth Education Center, you’ll make the short walk to the rainforest building. There, you will visit with the staff that care for the animals as you join the giant otters and their keepers behind the scenes for a training session, go below the neighboring building with operations staff as you inspect the maze of pumps and pipes that make up the exhibits life support system and explore the free flight aviary with the rest of the rainforest residents before it opens to the public! Capacity is limited to 30 participants, so register early!

GONDOLA VILLAGE: EXPERIENCE THE FRENCH ALPS AT THE OCEAN HOUSE

Our winter private dining experience opened to coverage from Food & Wine, Departures and Forbes magazines—plus millions of impressions on social media. This luxuriously cozy private dining venue transports guests to the French Alps, with delightful in-gondola breakfast, lunch, afternoon Apéro, and dinner menus.

The Experience

Guests will arrive on Ocean House’s North Lawn to enter one of our fully restored vintage ski gondolas for a private dining experience with a personal server. Each gondola has been outfitted with warm woods, fine textiles, chandeliers and sophisticated Le Creuset tableware, surrounded by an enchanting winter wonderland. Each of theses unforgettable experiences is perfect for a romantic rendezvous for two or a warm gathering of friends. A portion of proceeds from Gondola Village will benefit the Ocean House Fund for Charitable Giving. Reservations are required and pre-payment must be made at booking.
