Customer satisfaction analysis - EXHIBITORS

Satisfaction: there is no significant difference between exhibitors from Italy and those from abroad, while the 'average' exhibitors (between 60 and 100 square metres) achieved greater satisfaction (4.1) than larger ones (over 100 square metres, 3.6) and small ones (less than 60 square metres, 3.7).

Importance: significantly more important for Italian exhibitors compared to foreign exhibitors (4.0 vs 3.3); the same is true in terms of satisfaction with regard to square metres (average very satisfied, large and small less so).

Return: high for all exhibitors, more of a certainty than a probability. ROI: also increasing, although on average remaining the lowest among the KPIs

Autopromotec 2022 not only offered a journey into the heart of the automotive aftermarket and its latest innovations, but also a detailed look into the future, by analysing and comparing the trends that characterise the sector.

FUTURMOTIVE Experience - Talks - Startups is the initiative with which Autopromotec, in collaboration with ICE Agenzia, guides visitors through the new trends that characterise the mobility supply chain: from the ecological transition of the sector to digitisation to the new economic models that are emerging.

The initiative was divided into 3 different formats: in the four-sided portico at the entrance to the fair at the BolognaFiere exhibition centre, the visitor immediately gets full-immersion into the depths of technological evolution, with FUTURMOTIVE Experience; an immersive installation of images, light, sound and words, that focuses on the most important trends for the business of the future.

From depiction to tangible insight: FUTURMOTIVE Experience converges into FUTURMOTIVE Talks, the program of international conferences and workshops, which, for the 2022 edition, brought together some of the greatest leaders in technological innovation. These included the 6 international and European focus workshops of the IAM – International Aftermarket Meetings cycle.

The Autopromotec initiative dedicated to innovation in the sector has been completed with FUTURMOTIVE Startups , in collaboration with Motor Valley Fest of Modena, thanks to which several start-ups present their innovative proposals that get into the flow of the automotive aftermarket sector.

The first edition of Electric City originated from this question, which brought a 360-degree vision of electric mobility to Autopromotec, with a selection of alternatively-powered cars: from city cars to highperformance touring cars, on display in the 600 m 2 dedicated exhibition area.

Visitors were given a genuine overview of electric mobility, with solutions for the various market segments.

The turnout of the public and media coverage confirmed the strong interest in electric mobility, which is destined to grow exponentially in the coming years.

Are electric cars a real alternative to those equipped with traditional engines?

The B2B Area hosted business matching meetings between international operators and Italian exhibitors with face-toface meeting.

Thanks to the support of MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) and ICE Agenzia, over 160 official buyers arrived from over 40 world markets.

More than 800 validated meetings were held, both within the B2B Area and directly at the stands.

Specifically, thanks to MAECI and ICE Agency, Autopromotec 2022 hosted buyers from Australia, Azerbaijan, Canada, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, United States, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

In addition, selected operators from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, India, UAE, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Turkey participated in the business matching meetings, which were coordinated directly by the organisers and with the support of the Emilia Romagna Region and Unioncamere.

IAM Lounge and IAM Hall were the meeting places for networking at an international level at Autopromotec 2022. The IAM Hall hosted the International Aftermarket Meetings, which consisted of a cycle of 6 international workshops dedicated to the international operators, offering all the players in the supply chain a unique opportunity to keep up to date and share ideas. The workshops covered some of the key subjects for the post-pandemic automotive world: Access to technical information and on board vehicle data and competition in the aftermarket market; the future of MOT tests; the new trends in the bodywork sector, in order to provide a comprehensive view the automotive sector through the contribution of the various players in the supply chain.

The IAM experience is based on the excellent internationality achieved by Autopromotec and on the special relationship with all the industrial associations at both European and world level.
