RESEARCH
Problem
Many artists live and work in Hackney Wick since a long time ago. One of the main reasons, housing rent price is cheap so many artists are going for belong both of living and working there. When they was going to hackney wick, due to the fact that was cheap price without each income first time. However, artists don’t still have money so they want to find cheaper and cheaper house. It’s clearly shown that existing artists are not focused on their work anymore. Just interested in cheaper houses and retaining their life in Hackney wick. In a case, some artists visited a workshop of another artist, and then they asked price about housing rent, not artwork. These days, this kind of cases is very common problems in Hackney wick. People are interacting through rent price not their artwork each of them in artist village.
Solution -To build up Academy of Art in art village -To provide affordable, sustainable workspace to people who are interesting art -To connect interaction point between Hackney wick and Stratford

DESIGN CONCEPT
TRANSFORMER “Hackney Academy” as a new kind of academies will be introduced to Hackney Wick and Fish Island. The concept departs from flexible classes by public demand and focuses on the interaction between different programs and the transformation of the building volume according to its relationship with public demand and movement of people during creative works.

02 SWAN WHARF CIRCUS SPACE DESIGN
SITE _ swan wharfs 60 Dace Road, London, E3 2NQ

This space is a repurposed warehouse boasting a stunning riverside bistro serving local drinks, fine wines and incredible foods. It includes collectives of skilled makers, tech labs a media centre and stunning events space.
The building is separated into 2 main areas covering 4 floors. When I was there, I could visit 3 sections which were Bar, Café and large, the courtyard which backs onto the canal. Firstly, I went to bars was 2 floors. As soon as I entered inside, I was seen roof made of nets. The nets had patterns which look like military. This
was most interesting for me because it was very unique design. When I was there, it was not opened; however, I felt If I have a chance to enjoy in the bar, I would like to visit the bar again. Secondly, I visited ground floor was Café. It was small space and closed for construction. None the less, I observed inside. Their furni-
ture had vintage mood made of pipe, wood and aluminum. Also main color was white so I felt pure to café. And then I went glass doors opening directly into the courtyard. It included plenty of tables, chairs for drinking.

The Law Of Gravity HUMAN CANNON BALL
I chose roof made of nets for my Poche’ project. The nets had unique pattern. Also, when I searched a gap I saw the nets from a distance, it looked like just roof. However this hid column in the nets when I saw it in detail. Therefore I thought that nets had secret space in the roof.

I found things in common between human cannon ball and stilt walkers. Two performances have the law of gravity which applies to all objects but their bodies vary from the law of gravity when they get performances.

CONCEPTUAL MODELING Plan Sketch
I planned this model according to study about selected section and two performances. I wanted to express depths using study model.
MODEL A
MODEL B
STEP 1.
Put on layers of timber which use different size
STEP 2.
14
Make frame of timber for plaster
STEP 3.
Pour plaster into timber frame
STEP 4. Pull out layers of timber
STEP 5. See different depth/width
First time, I wanted making to use plaster but I have never used plaster so it could lead to be negative (MODEL A). However, I found depth and width in first model, and then tried making again to use paper on timber frame. When I made MODEL B, it had some secret space so I determined different shape by the peace. I combined every shape, and then found new shape in the stack frame.
CONCEPTUAL MODELING

FRONT VIEW
After making two models, I could connect between concept model and movements about stilt walkers and human cannon ball so I would try to develop my study modeling for design space. This model can move when people turn a handle. I think this can include meaning which is connection between human and space because I have wanted to design communication with that. This model is clearly shown through connection, it can achieve interaction and lead to enjoyment like cognition, control, reaction and perception to people and space, also makes better use of a space. On the other hand, the study model could be imagined actions about two performances which have things in common such as flow, dynamic, kinetic, the law of gravity when the model is turning. Therefore, my design is going to connect people and space based on concept models.

When I turn the handle of the model, this can be showed changed shapes. Through that, I determine space can be changed by people’s action. Also, it will show to reduce boundary between space and customers. Therefore, this space is interaction relationship extends by demolish the boundary between space and customers which caused by customers.

When I was this area, partial section was covered by temporal construction on the wall, so I thought that area lost historical character. Therefore, I drew to express the areas of two types which divide in half. The moment purpose is to express the movement of customers and the use of two handle, also that moment can show a comparison between temporal section and permeable section.

DETAIL DRAWING I was expected to zoom in on ‘handle’ element of my sectional to perform my detailed study. This area has had two handles which are permanent handle and temporary handle; I studied about that for my section.
/ The tusk tenon Use the tusk tenon, has its lower surface at the middle of the depth of the joist; the projection below it, as shown, gives a firmer bearing. The handle is fixed to the wall by first driving wooden plugs into holes formed by removing mortar from between bricks and
PERMANENT HANDLE
/ The handle bracket The top plate has only a shallow curve to it, so it can be used for both round handrail and flat base handrail. Small grub screw is used to hold the bracket to the threaded bolt below. It will stop the braket from moving.

SITE _ `the lea valley THE LEA VALLEY 3 miles from London's center.
The Lea Valley, in east London, United Kingdom, is remaining as one of the informal space; also it is consist of the various activities and experiences for many artists, citizens and tourists, and is now part of the Lea Valley Park. When I found it as boundary, it was fixed on the street. I tried to looking for relation with these racks so I just played using it such as crawling, walking up and crossing.
