Things to Consider When Choosing a Limousine Company
Renting a limousine for your wedding day is the most luxurious, easy and romantic way to get to where you need to be in style and on time! To be sure everything goes smoothly, it’s important to get to know about the limousine company you hire. Here are some things to consider when choosing a limousine service.
What size limousines do I need?
Limousine sizes range from Luxury Sedans all the way up to a 12 - 18 passenger stretch SUV. Keep in mind just how many people will be riding in this limousine. Will it be exclusively for the bride and groom, or will the entire wedding party be along for the ride. Something to also consider, for comfort sake, is the size of your passengers. Generally, booking a 10-seater will comfortably fit that many average-size riders, however, if your passengers are on the larger side, a 12-seater may be the better choice for maximized comfort.
How much will it cost?
Limousine rentals run in the neighborhood of $50 - $300 per hour (SUV’s). Most companies require a minimum of 2 or 3 hours to provide service. Go into this knowing exactly what you will need the limousine for and for how long. That way, your service can be priced accordingly, avoiding any billing surprises at the end of the day.
Will the limousine be exclusive to you?
Be sure to ask if your limousine will be exclusively for you that day. Ask if they are participating in another wedding or if your limousine is double booked. Be sure to check this. You do not want them leaving for another wedding if yours runs over time.
What is included with the limousine service?
Ask your limousine company if it has an “allinclusive price” and find out exactly what comes included in that cost. Also inquire about driver tipping standards. Make sure the company you hire has insurance and is licensed to operate.
Ask the company to provide you with proof of insurance and their license to carry passengers. Be sure to check how many passengers the company is allowed to carry in each vehicle.

Just as you would leave time to purchase bridal shower favors and arrange the caterers for your reception, so too should you interview and choose the limousine company and make a reservation ahead of time.
