Feast On This!

On January 26th the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce recognized six members for their outstanding engagement and support throughout 2021. Our finalists included Avalon Park Group who received the 2021 Most Engaged Member Award for their continued support of the Chamber by hosting events and sponsoring Chamber functions and programs. Lora Miller with CHEP, was recognized as our 2021 Board member of the year. Her commitment on numerous committees including Non-Profit, 75th Anniversary, Golf and more made her the clear candidate for this deserving award.

Our Volunteer Award went to the member who assisted at numerous events and supported the Chamber out in the community. The Llama Mama, Amy Robl of Signarama, was the standout winner of this award. Yesha Patel of Platinum Signs was awarded the Ambassador of the year. Her commitment to serving on the committee and representing the Chamber was above all others. Our Rising Star Award recognized our most engaged first year member. In 2021, Olivia Barakat of Barakat Insurance, jumped in feet first and never looked back, attending events and engaging with members. Orlando Medical News was recognized as the Chamber Partner of the Year. Please help us recognize these local businesses.

If you haven’t heard, February 24th starting at 4:30PM the East Orlando Chamber is hosting Feast in the East at the Pavilion Community Center in Avalon Park. Reserve your tickets today, for the Chamber’s premier food tasting and catering event. If you’d love food and beverage, this event is for you. Sample food and beverages from numerous restaurants from East Orlando and learn about their catering and to-go options. Attendees receive a program and a BINGO card with opportunities to win fabulous prizes from our restaurants. Additional activities include a wine pull, a drawing to win a Big Green Egg and voting for the Best Savory and Sweet Treat Awards. A few of our participating restaurants include Bonefish Grill, Goodfella’s, NOLA, PDQ, Rosso Specialty Coffee and more. You can find tickets and more information at eocc.org.
