EOCC Business Expo Features East Orange Businesses

On Thursday, August 26th the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Business EXPO at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport from 5PM-8PM. This annual event showcases over 100 local and area businesses. This event welcomes the public to meet Chamber business members to learn about their products and services. If you are in need of a plumber, roofer, insurance agent, financial advisor, bank or wish to support an area business, this is a one stop shop event. Show your support and join us for an evening full of prizes, giveaways, food and more. Tickets are available at EOCC.org.

Are you a business owner or representative who is looking for additional exposure to drive traffic and get contacts? If yes, then this is the event for you. Exhibitors are provided a table to set up a display to showcase their products and services. Space is limited so register early at EOCC.org to reserve your exhibitor space.

If this is your first time preparing for an Expo here are a few tips to make it a successful event.

• Have branded items, include your Logo on a tablecloth or runner.

• Bring a pop up banner (either full size or tabletop)

• Marketing materials, business cards, rack cards, postcards, flyers, etc.

• Provide branded giveaway’s i.e. pens, chip clips, key chains, candy, cookies, etc.

• Hold a drawing to collect additional business cards.

• Make sure you identify and separate hot leads from the rest.

• Include a prize for the Bingo Card Winners.

• Have a well decorated table (practice setting this up before attending to ensure all your items will fit and look presentable)

• Be creative. Use wrapped boxes to create various heights to add interest and eye appeal to your table. (include bouquet of flowers)

• Practice your 30 second elevator speech.

• Stand in front of your table and engage attendees (no one wants to visit a table where someone is sitting on their phone not paying attention.)

• Work the Expo to visit and meet fellow exhibitors, they might be your next customer or client.

• After the event, follow up, follow up, follow up. Send thank you notes to those who visited your table.
