The organization, founded 17 years ago in Spain, is consolidating its presence in the United States by connecting Hispanic companies and investors throughout the Americas and the Caribbean.
Operating and offering services closely linked to those provided by a Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic American Business Congress is an organization incorporated as a company in which its members – without the need to pay membership – enjoy the benefits of a database that provides business alliances at a global level
“Our objective is to promote strategic connections between countries to generate new business, position brands, products, and services, through international business meetings,” said Maria Victoria Valencia, founder and executive director of the Hispanic American Business Congress, an organization that among its achievements stands out for having been awarded as an Entity Promoting Integration and Business in Houston, Texas
In addition, the U.S. Congress declared October 13th, 2016, as Hispanic American Business Congress Day, a proclamation that had an impact at the international level, since four years later, on February 29, 2020, the entity received the Gold Collar for World Peace, a recognition that highlighted its excellent work, contribution and cooperation with the global economy.
“We are an organization at the service of the international Hispanic community, in which anyone who is undertaking and promoting a business, has our support and networks of contacts to position their brands, products or services,” said its founder María Victoria Valencia, who also promotes strategic alliances with institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the European Union, the Harvard David Rockefeller Review, the United Nations (UN), the United Nations Educational Organization (UNESCO), and the World Bank, among others
“These alliances allow us to join forces so that Hispanic businesses continue to grow even outside of the United States, as they are organizations that seek the development of Latin America and the Caribbean. And in this sense, we also work with more than seven presidential houses in Latin America, bringing investment to our countries and diversifying their economy,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that the Hispanic American Business Congress was established in the United States in 2015 and has had its main headquarters in Miami for three years, a step that seeks to strengthen ties with the Caribbean and Latin America
