Boca Woods Country Club is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newly redesigned Woods golf course This momentous occasion took place on Sunday, December 8th at 12:00 PM, with a celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony marking the culmination of a remarkable $9M transformation that has captivated the attention of golf enthusiasts far and wide.
More than 450 Members and distinguished guests from industry and government joined the Club for the ribbon cutting ceremony, cocktails and hors d' oeuvres. Attendees included PGA Junior Club Members standing aside past Club Presidents, sharing a commitment to excellence demonstrated by the investment to fully renovate the Woods Course. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a lifetime Boca Woods Country Club Membership accepted by Rees Jones.
The outcome of this extensive renovation: a formidable championship golf course, meticulously designed by the renowned Rees Jones and delivered through the craftsmanship of LaBar Golf Stretching to a maximum yardage of 7,043 yards, the course boasts key risk/reward decisions for the experienced golfer while offering better playable options for those less experienced

Redesigned Greens: Completely rebuilt to provide smoother, truer, and more consistent putting surfaces.

Q: Can you tell our readers a little about yourself and your art business?
I’m a Florida native residing in Sebring with two children whom I homeschool. As a single mom with two boys, I had to figure out how to balance my priorities while also supporting us financially. My business has been a vital part of that success, alongside the support of friends and family.
In May 2022, my youngest son wanted a face painter for his birthday party, but I couldn’t afford one. So, I purchased a face painting kit from Amazon and ended up painting everyone at the party myself. We all had fun! By October 2022, my kids participated in a local children’s business fair as “Cookie Bots.” Their robot-themed company sold cookies, and I painted their faces to match the theme. Soon, other kids at the event were asking me to paint their faces too. Despite not having any professional setup, I painted as many as I could, and it was such a fun and rewarding experience that I realized this was the missing piece of my life puzzle. I decided to pursue face painting as a business and invested in a chair, canopy, insurance, and supplies. Initially, I wanted to name my business “Sweet Cheeks Face Painting,” but since a similar name already existed, I chose “Rosey Cheeks Face Painting” instead. As the business grew, I rebranded it to “Rosie’s Artistic Entertainment” to reflect a broader range of services. I didn’t want to be known solely as the “chief face painter in town” I wanted my company to be recognized for quality, value, and a stellar reputation.
While face painting is our most popular service, we also offer paint-and-sip parties, workshops, glitter tattoos, fairy hair, and other event-related services My first paid gig was in April 2023 with Champions for Children, supporting Child Abuse Prevention Month
Q: How do you feel that art projects are a healthy component for youth in modern society?
I’ve partnered with Hope for Highlands, who emphasized that kids have as much if not more mental health needs as adults Art can play a crucial role in addressing these needs
